CPRV/Pancake on TIP missing, Need HELP!
Ok not sure if this is the right area, but I have been having problems with accelerating. It feels like I have lots of torque but no boost. We have pretty much replaced the whole pcv system, so I couldn't figure out the problem. After staring at my car one day, I noticed that there were 4 clamps missing. 3 around the EPG and Pancake, and one where the pipe going into the Turbo area (brain isn't functioning very well right now) meets a hose. I noticed in some DIY pics of my model, that there is a pancake on the TIP. There is no cprv/pankcake on my TIP. The hose is running directly into the inlet pipe, and is clamped with a screw clamp. Not sure how thats holding in air being clamped like that. My question is, why would someone remove the CPRV or as it never there? Was this a modification for a purpose? I read something about removing it and putting in a catch can, but I wouldn't know what to look for. Nothing else has been deleted except for the CPRV. Any help is appreciated.
