Intake runner flap motor
 

Help! Just started getting the engine light on then off at 60,000 miles on my 07 A3. Dealer states the code is for the intake runner motor and suggest replacement at $560.00. After reading many forums it sounds like Audi/VW knows that there is a problem but I can't find anything on recalls. Is there anything I can use on the dealer for getting this repaired? What if I continue to drive it??

Well the repair costs were $471.00 at a local import car shop. 2 year warranty! Seems the car even gets better MPG.
