Mahle filter replacement
 

Hey guys, got cancelled from school for a few days thanks to the snow, so I'm taking the time to replace some parts on the Audi.

I have a Mahle brand filter, but dont know if there is any special way to replace this or not? where is the panel located at to replace the old one with this new one? I'm having a mental block thats giving me difficulties trying to figure out where this thing goes. Any help or reference threads would be appreciated.

assuming you are talking about an air filter cuz you say "panel"... on the passenger side of the engine bay, you will see a vent looking pipe coming from the front above the radiator. It goes to the airbox. Take the vent out by just pulling the middle apart. then undo the clips on the airbox and take whatever else is necessary out. (i havent had the stock airbox in forever) its not too hard, pretty self explanatory once you get going.

If it starts to look something like this, then your definitly on the right track ;)
