been lerking for a bit now. It is actually my wifes car. Had several issues after we bought it, coils, valve cover gasket leaking, coolant flange leak, blh, blah. I was ready to burn it to the ground. Its to the point i dont trust to drive it out of town. we had the coils replaced by audi under the recall for them, and its been ok since. My wife loves her car, and i would like to start doing some performance upgrades. Ive been reading about a diverter upgrade, and tune. I have read not to bother with an intake. can someone explain more to me. I did a search, but being new to this, i would like a little more insight. I do a ton of LS1 performance, but want to liven up her car as well. thanks in advance!!

1. The factory intake is very good and replacing it with an aftermarket one just ends up sucking in hot air and may decrease performance.

2. The chip (software flash) is the best bang for your buck on this car. For about $500 you can increase horsepower and torque by a large margin

3. The diverter valve is simply to hold added boost from the software flash, it does not gain performance.

4. What I would do is:

- Unitronic Stage 2 Software
- TT 386cc Injectors
- R.A.I. Test Pipe
- Samco/Forge piston Diverter valve
