question about resonator? anybody?...
 

i have a 2006 audi a4 2.0t.

i was wondering a couple things before i decided if im going to remove it.
--does removing the resonator have a effect on the turbo with back pressure or anything?
--are there any annoying frequencies or bad exhaust sound i might get?
--any benefits of removing resonator like sound, hp and more?

If my understanding is correct, removing the resonator is only going to have an impact on the sound of the car. Without the resonator the car will be louder, depending on the exhaust system that is installed, you may run into an issue with drone at lower RPMs.

Ok the drown was one thing that I was worried about

if u are just removing the resonator with no other thing being replaced the sound should not be very loud. From what ive heard the difference is almost unnoticeable. . . . But i for one have never heard an audi without a resonator in person so i cannot tell u how good or bad it might sound.
