Resonator question for Custom exhaust 1.8t
 

Vehicle: 2003 A4 1.8t Quattro

Currently in the process of gathering some things before i drop my car off to have a custom exhaust installed. I will have a three inch testpipe going to 2.5 inch piping through out and was wondering what resonators anybody recommended?

I plan on grabbing a Flowtech 50252FLT Red Hot Glass Pack Muffler to install as the resonator before I go out to two magnaflow mufflers. My question is will the glasspack work as a resonator? I'm in no way looking for a fart cannon type noise. I would like to obtain a deeper louder tone, just not to to obnoxious.

I'm running a Vibrant 12" perf-core resonator and love it. My 2.8 sounds really deep and ballsy. An 18" would be even deeper but it'd be an extremely tight squeeze on a Quattro.

Ended up going completely different with the whole set up

Three inches from the turbo back to a vibrant resonator out to magnaflow 14851's
