i love my aFe cold air intake. not too hard to install. took me around 2 hours

alot of people say that they really dont notice a differance from the carbino and stock. and to tell you the truth alot of people will tell you that just a drop in K&N will do the trick. people with BT upgrades are still usen the stock air box because its efficient.
my opinion, save your money and use it towards something else. |
If you are really into it. the AEM you are telling is one of the best. Also this stuff is not that expensive. Worth every penny.

I put a carbonio on my b6 1.8t and immediately felt/heard a difference. Took about 45 minutes to install. Very easy, great detailed instructions. Worth every dime imo.

According to this post cold air kits are a waste of money. Read and take what you want from it. Go here:
http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php?t=277514 As to K&N air filters, I have one in my motorcycle, but I recently read a thread on one of the Audi forums (may have been Audizine again) that, at least when compared to the regular Audi air filter, it offers no better performance and less protection. Darn! |
Very satisfied with my carbonio. Simple install about an hour. Heped reduce the throttle lag in my B7 2.0T.

k&n worked for me.
