I got a used a4 and it has the manual seats i was wondering how much work and money is involved in putting in the automatic seats?

 

IIRC, you have to weld on the third power rail. So it's pretty involved.

Do the power seats still have the wheel crank to recline? I don't understand why audi uses that kind of recliner system. It's like..."I think I need to lay back and relax for a minute, but first I'm going to get in a quick wrist workout."
