06 Audi A3 cold air probem
 

Hi i have a 20096 Audi A3 3.2L s-line and i am having a problem with the heater.

When the heat is on any tempature i get cold air under the passenger side floor vent.
now when i turn recycle on it works just fine but then i get all the windows in the car fogging up.
but when i turn the recycle with the little "A" on it it gives cold air out the vents on the bottom.

my question is does any one know of what the problem may be ?
i have been up in the mountains for the last few weeks and my girlfriend is getting pissed at me because she is always cold =P

Need clarification: when you turn on the temp, it comes out the driver's side, but not the passenger side? Does it appear anywhere else?

when i turn on the the air be it hot or cold air comes out of all the vents where ever i want it, be it the floor, dash, or windshield, but when it is on anywhere the air is cold on the passenger side. but not when the recycle is on.

its odd like cold outside are is coming in there somehow
i thought maybe that there is some hose undone, or maybe the air filter cover has come off but i have not had a chance to check, lol that's even if i know were it was.

hate to say it but reading your last post confused me. So are u saying hot air is only coming out of one side of the car and not the other?

sorry, hot air comes out of all vents but the floor. cold air comes out of the floor no matter what vents are on. cold air only stops when the Recycle button is on.
