2000 Audi A4 2.8 quattro engine diagram needed?
 

Hey everyone,
Recently my father purchased an Audi A4 2000 2.8 quattro for only $500. The catch? The entire front end wasn't exactly attached and some parts of the engine weren't on properly. The car is claimed to run and drive fine if the parts are put on together correctly though. So then he tells he that if I am able to fix this car, he'll give it to me, free of charge. So just now I started looking at this car and to my astonishment I discovered there are about two-three parts that aren't attached to the engine. The first is a pulley that (as the auto shop worker said) only volkswagon, audi, and a japenease car company uses. He quoted that it was only used to carry a belt to another pulley. Maybe some of you know about this? The other part is what appears to be a fan that attaches to the engine to keep it cool. However, this is an audi. German engineering. It isn't exactly U.S. and that entire 3 company pulley system isn't a walk in the park either. So I'm in desperate need of a diagram of the engine and possibly the entire front end if you all were to be so kind. After I repair this car, I hope to mod it. Although, that would first require me to take it out of its current condition. I would appreciate any help Thank you.

If I were you I would look for the same model car for sale on Craigslist. Go for a test drive and take some pictures of the engine compartment. Just an idea.
