2001 TT Quattro Double Din?

I have an 01 TT Quattro Roadster (I love this fun car)! Although I LOVE the sound of the BOSE Concert factory stereo, I would really love to put a double din in it. I have searched hi and lo and come up blank each time. There is absolutely NO ROOM left in this little car. Every inch has been utilized. The only place I can see possible it to somehow 'cut' out the ashtray and have something fabricated to fit. I've also thought about the flip-out/up old school style (which I can reconsider) but the placement of the radio isn't the best fit for the car :/ Anywho, anyone have expericence or ideas? Pictures and links would be helpful... Thanks :)

I think the original radio system on your vehicle is single din head unit.
You can install a single din unit+ dash kit:
AUDI TT double din head unit with navigation system

Thanks for the reply :) Please forgive my ignornance in advance: Indeed my original is a single din, just like the picture. What is a dash kit (and where would I put it? On the dash?). And would this allow me to use a double din radio/stereo? Sorry, I'm a girl and just have high hopes lol

He move down the air condition controller and put the double din unit in the hole.
