A3 interior rattles, creaks and noises

OK, I've searched the forums and found some stuff on interior noises in not just the A3 but Audi's in general.

The interior creaks and noises are driving me crazy. It sounds like all the door panels, especially the right rear, move or making a creaking sound over all most any road imperfection.

I've secured the spare tire cargo cover with Velcro and it has stopped making sounds.

Here's the really crazy part, when it is raining all the noises stop. Call me nuts but it's true, even my wife notices it.

I am taking it to Audi to have the transmission recall repaired and I am taking the service rep a ride to let him hear the noises, as we all know everything disappears when the rep goes by himself.

Any suggestions or ideas as to how to stop the noises? I saw some kind of German lube for rubber, but read that when it dries up the noises come back.

Help!

Door panels??? You could try tightening the installation screws. Maybe it is the door seals??? you could try wiping these down with rubber conditioner. You might also try flipping down the center console, that was/is squeaking in my A3 (leather seats).
