I own a 1998 A4 2.8Q....so i was driving the other day, and i heard a little thunk...and when i got out, the back of my seat came off...and let me tell you, IT DOES NOT just pop on, lol...can anybody help?

 

Just noticed the other day that mine is doing the same thing Haven't had a chance to look at it yet.

 

um .............. yeah it happens, mine did it too, but all you have to do is just put in back into place. it snaps into place on teh bottom of the seat. you will see the two plastic clips just make sure it is pushed all the way up. If you want to see how it really works look at he other side when you pull it off.

 

There is a TSB on the seat backs. Your dealer has metal clips to replace the flimsy plastic ones.
