Default Good Fix for the LCD Screen on your Instrument Cluster

I don't like to let a job well done go unappreciated, so I'm writing this review to return the favor.

I brought my car to their shop in Tampa but they do most of their business by mail. I spoke with a very helpful and knowledgable technician by the name of Andrew and I was in and out in an hour and a half with a "like new" LCD screen on my instrument cluster. They use a European made product which seems to work better than anything else out there, and what appeased my worries more than anything was their warranty that's good for a whole year. The price is right and their product and service are even better. I wouldn't have any doubts about doing business with them again. I'd post pics, but my camera is broken, plus they have them posted on their website.

What did they do to fix it? Did they replace the whole screen?

Yes, they replace the LCD screen/ribbon with a high quality brand new one. Same cluster so no need to reset your mileage or anything.

Chances are something inside the glass part of my LCD screen was broken because there was no visible damage to the ribbon or anything else.

How much did it cost? Where can I find the display screen?

They charge $235 plus shipping, or if you bring your car in they can remove and reinstall the cluster for an additional $60.

Here's a link to their before and after pics: http://www.dnaspeedometers.com/aud.htm

I'm not sure where they order their screens from, I just know they said it's a European product unlike the cheap ones that some others are using.

Default Does DNA Speedometers work on Audi?

I went to their website but they don't have listed that they repair instrument clusters for Audis? Anyone know? I've emailed them about it as well to see if they can repair mine.

Thanks,
