Hey guys, I have an Audi A4 Quattro 03 and the plastic paint they use to cover your radio is all coming off! It look so bad, I was wondering how to re-do that so it looks like new, or atleast better than it looks now =)

 

got a picture? There are some options like Duplicolor Vinyl and Fabric Coating.

 

Fix for peeling buttons

 

Has anyone ever seen this? It sure seems like a much easier fix...

yea but not all buttons are replaceable like that. not to mention if u go thru all the buttons u can replace you are looking at an easy 300 dollar expense versus a 5 dollar can of paint.

I am a new user just posting for the first time and was wondering if the painting helped. I have a 2002 A6 that is pristine except for a few minor issues inside
the headlight switch on is a mess and all scratched up and i was wondering did the painting work and could I try that or would it be better to replace it?

the "-" button on the heater is no more its rubbed off have no idea what to do there.....

and the cup folder in the center console won't stay shut ....

anyone have any ideas float them my way ....

for the headlight switch u can just buy a new one on ebay for very cheap. i know there is a certain one to buy that is newer and still works but i cannot remeber which it was. I know they were buying them from china th ough. AS for the -button i would use a sharpie if u want to just keep it looking decent. As the the cupfolder that is normal in our cars for that thing to either stay shut and never open or open and never close. Only way to fix is replace the whole unit which is somewhere in 70 dollars.

again LOVE THE CAR and the interior is exceptional except for the few little things.....
the cup holder what would I search under? having a hard time finding that ? don't mind spending the $ for that since it really hasn't cost me much at all in 134,000 miles
