My father in-law recently came across a windscreen he had for his 2004 Audi A4 Cabriolet. He used the windscreen once when he bought the car but didn't like the fact that it made the back seats unusable. After that he packed up the windscreen in its case & put it away in his closet for another day. Well 'another day' never came for that windscreen & the A4 Cabriolet was sold years ago.
We were cleaning out his closet a few weekends ago and came across this windscreen and man was I jealous! I own a 2004 BMW 330Cic (you could find me on E46fanatics.com) and I myself am looking for a mint windscreen but haven't had any luck finding one that is 1) at a fair price & 2) in mint condition. When I saw this windscreen I thought about those in my position that are looking for a mint windscreen to add to their A4 Cabriolet much like I am looking for one to go with my 330 Cic.
Anyways enough about me. The windscreen I have has the following part number & info:
(Audi logo), Germany, 8H0 862 953 B, RLO, 02/05, S26.
This wind screen number crosses to the new one which is 8H0 862 955 B. It fits 03-09 A4 Cabriolets plus the 08-09 RS4 Cabriolets.
If your interested please verify that this would work for your application and send me a 'fair offer'. I know these windscreens still go for about $800 new at the dealership. This windscreen comes with its protective case and both the windscreen & case have no damage, tears or scratches! It is basically a new windscreen without the 'new' dealer price! The bag has some slight discoloration on the inside from possibly moisture (?) but it is very faint and does not effect the mint condition or usefulness of the windscreen itself. Just making sure the buyer is completely informed and gets no surprises. I am looking to move this windscreen for my father in-law and hopefully give someone a great deal on a practically new Audi A4 windscreen but I am not going to give it away. I am sure there are used windscreens on eBay but buyer beware cause some of those windscreens are worn, damaged, mistreated or incomplete (hence I have yet to find a windscreen for my E46). Would be willing to consider trade for an E46 windscreen also in mint condition with carrying case but I am sure that is a long shot!
I have taken approximately 18 pictures of this windscreen so if you would like more pictures please provide an email address so I can get some sent out to you. PayPal only transaction and BUYER PAYS ALL SHIPPING COST; which should be around $20-25 (USPS) or $45-50 UPS. Will ship internationally but international shipping can cost $$$ & that is a decision you will have to make. Please no low-ball offers... I am not offering a used windscreen at a new price.
