Factory stereo head unit for sale
I upgraded to an aftermarket system so I am selling my factory head unit. It is the one with red lights and has a cd player and tape player. It will work in several vehicles including: 1999-2000-2001-2002 Audi A4 1999-2000-2001-2002 Audi S4 also works in other model years, call your local car dealer for more info. I used this radio personall and had it bench tested after it was removed. This radio is perfect working condition. It also the warranty from Audi since the Seal is steel not damged. It stated "Warranty and exchange only if seal is not damaged". Call me at 703-338-5527 or email me (roger.muse@aclasscorp.com)

RE: Factory stereo head unit for sale
What car is it out of? I have a 2002 A4 1.8T Quattro, non-sport package, with the Bose Audi Symphony system...I am looking to replace my in-dash 6-disc Bose changer because the buttons are all scratched up and chipped and some are kinda sticky...let me know if this is the same unit as yours, if you still have it. My email is jeremyebrock@hotmail.com so email me if you are interested in selling still (I am only looking for one in perfect shape ;-) )

RE: Factory stereo head unit
I just bought a 1999 Audi A6 Quattro and I love it so far. The only downside is that the factory stereo head unit only has a cassette player (which does not even work). So I am curious if i can remove the head unit and add my own head unit that i bought off ebay that contains a cd player on it instead of a cassette player. So basically is it easy to remove the factory head unit and add my own that contains a CD Player?

RE: Factory stereo head unit
it's very easy. get two keys to remove the unit and it pulls right out. if the new one is same din size ur set. the plugs might not match up in which case youll have to buy a wiring harness adapter. the problem i'm having is that the new deck im installing is aftermarket and i get a popping/snapping sound when the deck is turned on or off. i would go with a factory deck if ididnt already have this clarion.

It may not be as simple as throwing in a new deck. If it's a Bose system or an Audi Symphony system then your speakers are most likely all individually amplified at the speaker, not from the deck.....depends on the model tho.....

Is the head unit still available, and do you have a part number and security code?
