I am a little unfamiliar with the audi generations. no the key comes with a blank in it so all you have to do is take it to the dealer or locksmith. some hardware stores can do it too

yea some people have no problem getting it cut i have had a few bring it to the dealer and they are just stupid and dont know what it is and refused to cut it. but everyone i had sold one to has got it cut
