1997 a4 1.8 t Quattro silver exterior / grey interior. [ I am located in Northeastern Connecticut, Near to the University Of Connecticut ]. winter package, heated seats, sunroof. after 350K and many years the engine is toast with a compromised timing belt. very well maintained car, not a tuner car. no modification to engine. have all service records going back many years. always did oil changes on time, top synthetic only. no modifications to engine or other part of the car. OEM parts all around, maintained by excellent ASE certified professional mechanics, they kept it going for me all the time.  always a solid runner until the very very end. sad day when it expired. time to move on with something else. AC stopped working years ago, heat worked fine.  in 2022 put in lots of new parts: front control arms, front axle, new coolant fan, and more. timing belt and water pump done at least two times over the years. some cosmetic issues inside, torn seats, wear and tear on other seats,  loose headliner, dash is perfect, interior door parts are excellent, glass is excellent all around, carpet on floors a bit rough, original manual in car, original spare tire / jack. brand new master craft all-season  tires 15" 195/65 15 put on in November or December 2022. still very new, shame to waste those. exterior: small 5 Inch dent / hood fold on hood [ someone hit my car while I was grocery shopping, no damage to frame, replaced the cracked headlight myself. ]. drivers side front quarter panel, some rust at the bottom [ New England car = snow storms + minor rust.] all 4 doors are in excellent condition, well maintained exterior, usual small nicks and very minor scratches here and there. trunk is good condition, small 1 inch depression on rear back panel from minor bump into another car, sunroof solid and works, have three of those black plastic door bottom pieces that are hard and expensive to find. looking for someone to make an offer, worth more to an A4 B5 owner than what the junk yards are offering.  would make an excellent harvest parts car for someone with the space and ability to use any/all the parts. looking to make a move very soon so contact me with some inquiries, offers, happy to answer any questions, working on posting some pictures soon.  thanks very much.  email me anytime   UNSEENGUEST @ HOTMAIL.COM
