Hello there.. im posting about my Audi Q5
Its a 2.0 T i usually do the oil service in a workshop near by since i bought it but the major ones i do it
At Audi Dealer..anyway last week the " low pressure oil turn off car" sign has come
Checked the oil level was FULL !
Talked to the Audi's dealer mechanic ..told me it might be the sensor
Towed the car and gave it to them and they've changed the sensor
Then took the car driven with it the Sign didnt appear anymore
Today while i was driving the sign appeared again !!
That drived me crazy ..talked to the mechanic told me it might be the oil pump and it
Might be not ! He said i dont want to open the engine and change the oil pump and the problem wont be resolved so
I advise you to change the Engine !!! What the hell ? He said its better
My car has 160,000 km
What do you think guys?
Recenltly im not driving the Q5 because im scared !

You might have a "T" installed where the oil pressure sensor is. Install a mechanical oil pressure gage. Good luck.

 

You might have two sensors; one for pressure and one for level. If either shuts off the fuel pump, you will not destroy the engine.
