Need some info for my build
 

Alright so I have a 1996 a4 quattro with a 5 spd manual its stock engine is the 2.8l v6 i want to do a motor swap for a turbo charged engine i can tune but I'd like to know if theres an engine that will fit the same tranny i have now or should i swap the tranny too?

1.8T. Pretty much you would need a donor car though... and for all that effort you may as well try to buy an inexpensive 1.8T car and sell your 2.8.
