My name is david a few months back i bought a 1998 audi cabriolet fwd v6 98k miles 925$ i got what I thought was a really good deal but I'm some problems with it I am decently mechanicly inclined my dad has taught me a lot over the years but I have no experience with audi's and I promised dad and girlfriend I'd make a good project out of this car

1. Main issue some the lights are not working on car including one headlight the dash cluster except for the warning lights such as cel, thermostat ECT, the thermostat light comes on and off

2. I need to find a best deals on coil packs for this car as I replaced plugs and wires


3.Convertible top does not go down motor and pump were all ready disconnected also leaks I wanna fix the issue but I'm really interesting in figuring cost of a hardtop for it dont care about keeping it a convertible

for build part of thread my idea for the car bumper and light modifications if any good for the car maybe an engine swap turbod and redoing the interior and making it a bad to the bone little two seater coupe




I will be posting pictures soon. Any real suggestions on where to get coil packs and hardtops or even ideas for my the build for my girl is appriciated my budget on this car is about 5k maybe 6 but I wanna spend as much as possible not on top conversion as I can do the labor
