210K miles!? - I'm glad to hear these cars can go that long. I was actually thinking last week about what I would do with mine if/when that time comes. I think I'd hold on to it and turn it into a project car. I'd buy another (newer) one and take my time with this one and rebuild it from the ground up... even if it takes me a couple of years. How much do you think you'll get for it if you were to sell it in the current condition? Probably around 4K depending where you live - 4K wouldn't go very far especially if you're going to buy a new one. Mine has sentimental value - it's the first Audi I've ever owned. I know taking on a project like this requires money, time, space to work on it, understanding wife, etc But I think would enjoy it a lot. My 2 cents.

Hey fellow Audi fans... We have a 2000 A6 2.7t with 210,000 on the odo. Time for rebuilt turbos and tranny. What to do? Fix or sell? What would you do? The car is in otherwise excellent condition. It's strictly a commuter car (30 miles round trip) and I'm leaning to spending about $5k to fix it vs. $50k+ on a replacement. Whatcha think? Thanks!
ps. It's the wife's car and I didn't tell her that I chipped it up, adding an alleged 80 more hp
