Good to hear from you! I'm still learning my way around here and the nuances seem to be many. Both turbos drip oil on the exhaust which creates a bit of smoke. "time for a new car" so just yesterday she picked up a new Volvo S60T5 AWD w/ every extra. I get to keep the Audi and, like you, have a project car. It's already chipped to about 330hp and w/ 2 new turbos and a few other modest tricks, should be quite the sleeper w/ perhaps as much as 400hp on tap. Not for wheelies, but just to have on hand. The other wrinkle is the transmission needs a rebuild soooooooo... 2 turbos + a tranny rebuild... otherwise the inside is as new; there's no rust so how can I get rid of it? With the smoke and transmission issues (it needs 6 pints of fluid every 8 months... no one knows where its going to... it's a sealed system) I don't think we'd get $1,500 for it so perhaps $4k will bring it up to snuff.
