Thanks a lot for the log of your experience with Dave. I will certainly use it to keep my patience in check between revs. I am wondering if Dave needs to be pushed a bit with email reminders when revisions take more than a week or so.
When I read your build list for "Billy" in your garage it makes me hugry to play catch-up so I can enjoy some of those great mods you have all around, not just the engine. I was wondering if you have the MotozaPS displayed on the Nexxus7 indash? I was thinking of doing something similar. I saw a picture of Dave's A4 on the site, and I immediately loved it. BTW-did you see the euro get together in SD laborday weekend? I am thinking of making that trip. Hopefully I will have at least a Rev 1.1 tune by then...Big SoCal Euro Gathering | RSVP | European Car lovers

I'm sure you'll be quite pleased with Motoza Stage 1+. Dave @ Motoza certainly seems to know what he's doing and it's cool that he tailors the tune to your specific car.
But don't necessarily expect to receive revisions right away. Quick rundown of my experiences:
Rev. 1: Took 6 days, with a follow-up email in-between. File set incorrectly to use 3" MAF when I was using stock MAF. Oversight on Dave's part.
Rev. 2: Took 2 days. Only change was to use stock MAF, so this was really more like Rev. 1.1.
Rev. 3: Took 20 days. Good improvements to power & driveability.
Rev. 4: Took 7 days, including a couple conversation emails. Dave fixed the high-reading cluster MPG display (I suspect was due to the wrong MAF being chosen in Rev. 1), and some other things.
[A couple months went by as I swap F4H for F21 and address some other small things. Several conversation emails.]
Rev. 5: Took 27 days, including a follow-up email at 21 days, a reply at 26 days. This may be my final revision.

Hi Dan, it's nice to hear you've read through some of what I've written

I rarely get out to meets. Was hoping to attend yesterday's Wheels and Waffles meet at South Coast Plaza, but didn't.
Right now Thursday nights are when I do my long training runs, so I would need to switch my run to Wednesday or Friday... which may be possible. Is this Thursday meet the one at BJ's?

Personally I can't imagine going larger than a FT for driving around OC/LA. I've never driven or been in a BT 1.8T A4 but I'm rather content with seeing full boost before 3,000 RPM. Also can't imagine how fun it would be to start from a red light facing uphill on some of the roads around you, with a BT!
