i saw your post about your used k04 w/ a waste gate that's been welded open for some reason. so i created an account on here to ask about it (i typically am on vwvortex).

where are you located? do you have a photo of the waste gate so i can see what was done? how much are you asking for it?

i'm asking b/c i'm building a 1990 golf to compete in this year's grassroots motorsports challenge. as there hasn't been a competitive vw or audi run in it for a few years. and instead of the typical 2L 16v setup that would take a day to throw together, we're doing a 1.8t + software + homebrew FMIC (unless i can find a sponsor to cover the intercooler).

anyway, my budget is next to nil, but if it might be usable with some modification, i'd love to know
