    Hi,

I saw some old post where you were trying to figure out coding for your HVAC system on a 1996 A4.

I'm working on the same issue, also have a 1996 that I got with a 97 controller. I havent been able to find the right one but supposedly some older ones might work.

In the mean time I got mine working with a switch that controls the signal to the AC clutch relay, if it gets too hot I flip the switch and if it gets too cold I turn it off.

I have the same problem with errors coming from non-existing components, looking for soft codes to try on the controllers I have.

email me to rodolfocamach@gmail.com if you want to exchange info, I'm in northern cal.

    thanks.
