I did all of the prep and shaping myself. I had my buddy paint them. It is a lot of work if you do the same way I did it. But I've got a pair of inserts that I could do a reflector delete on. You could sell your stock ones once you install mine. It also helps to not have your car down while the inserts are modded. In an answer to your question, yes it is a lot of work. I have done 4 pairs and sold them on the forums. Let me know what you think.
