Hi, im new on the forum but i come to you because a have a strange problem thats got me sick.
I have a q5 2012 2.0tfsi. 50kmiles. Ive got OBDII code errors p2178 p2188.. at a cold start i get lots of air sound as If the car would be sucking air and then lots of popping sounds coming from the passanger side. When the revs come back down everything is good but at times the car just justs off. If i push the gas the car just shuts off..If I floor the gas after cold start I also get popping noise coming from the tail. Ill post via youtube a video. Could you please tell me if youve seen this problem before?

Hey, I have a 2000 Audi A4 Quattro 1.8t and my car keeps killing my battery and also when its turned on and I rev the engine a lot of white smoke comes out and I was wondering what could be the problem and what is the best thing to change.

Hello, I recently bought a 2001 Audi TT 6 speed 225HP. I bought is knowing both windows didn't work so I was prepared to do some digging into them. Here is what I have got so far; 1) There is power at the motors at the red/green and the black when the key is turned 2) There is no power at either switch (I assume there should be though?) but the switch tests fine with a continuity test. 3) All the fuses and relays are good including the thermal fuse 4) I have pulled the ccm and inspected it and it doesn't seem to have any corrosion or dry solders. I have the wire diagram and saw that several wires ran through here so thought it would be good to check it. 5) I do not know if the motors are good because I don't know how to test them, can they be tested outside the car or anything?

Also other symptoms I've noticed include, Center dome lights don't work at all. Bulbs and fuses are good and the fuel and temp gauges are erroneous. Figure I mise well list these too incase they correlate.

hello it seems like your Mr go to here so maybe you can help I have a 98 a4 1.8t with the tip tronic engine but Ive had a chronic misfire since the day I bought my car ive had a misfire issue after hundreds of dollars wasted still no fix!!! please help I have the miss in cylinder 3. I changed the coil pack the miss actually got worse. I switched it with a known good pack but to no no avail. I changed the plugs, injectors, icm my mechanic was stomped every time he would try something new it would run great for a few days the just tank all over again and also once ive overcome that I want to start doing a few mods but I have no idea were to start I mean it is a automatic afterall so I understand I cant do the same things I could with a standard model help me please

I installed a new a/c system in my 2002 Audi TT 1.8L. The a/c system works great but the problem I am have is a 3 to 4 amp draw on battery when car is off. I have pulled the negative terminal on battery and connected a multimeter to verify amp draw. Is there a relay that might be stuck or a electrical short in my system? I got a 01 audi A4 1.8t that I got as a gift, but wont turn over anymore. I replaced the head gasket changed, then the spark plugs as well but no start either. The car turns but wont turn over. I want to say it might be the Fuel pump relay or something that has to do with the fuel system. I figured you would know a bit more than me since you've had more experience. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

I am kind of local to you. I work in Irvine (near courthouse) and live in Aliso Viejo. I have a 2003 A4 (B6) 1.8TQM with 115K 710N, K&N panel, and ordering Motoza Stage 1+ tomorrow morning. Can't afford HFC yet so have to get TP for now.

Saw Audib6newb was talking about car night on Thursday at LH mall. That is right down the street from me. Was wondering if you were going this week?

Would love to see your car as have followed the progress for some time now. It would give me some food for thought on going Frakenturbo vs. Garret 37xxR for next step (can't do turbo for few months, so need to live with 1+ for now). Would like to see/hear your Motoza opinion as well. I love their process compared to the older ones (GIAC, REVO, APR).

I see you are local to me I Live in the HB area as well. There is a car meet in laguna hills mall every Thursday night bot sure if you have ever gone there buy I would love to see and hear billy run in person

Hey MM, 97 a4 quattro 1.8

How hard is it to replace the a/c hose? It has a big hole on it. Its the metal L shaped piece that drops below the frame. Won't hold a charge or any pressure. Thanks for your time.
