    HI MarkyMarc-
I read yur post on the audi per steering pump hose. I am in same jam, but dealing with post cancer so money is super tight anyway, that hose is $837!!! ouch! I have a 03 A3 quatro and its the 1.8 mortar doesn't VW have a less expensive hose that old fit? I refigured a VW wiring harness, it was 300 bucks…audis 3K!!! so wondered if that would be an option. is there a work around? used parts? cut off the hose and reclamp new hose to metal parts?? its at Ingolstadt West in Canoga park C,and has always been serviced there. t is the car that took me to the hospital and has a bit of life saving sentimentality and a so i thought i would just ask for some ideas or help from some veteran Aui owners…the car is a GOAT its still a blast to drive and its all dialed in,,,except this ! lol

Vag com is an audi adapter and software, you can find it, order it or read about it:

    Ross-Tech: Home

Yes, they do have to match EXACTLY to the last letter or it will not work. These remotes were made specifically for each model year...that is why everyone asks for the FCC ID number...or you can not program it....I forgot what Model year AUDI you have, if it's a 2003 or newer, ONLY the dealer can program the new FOB because it has the immobilizer built in...if it's older, you can do it.

Again, be careful on ebay..you need the exact one to match...there should be a lot of DIY as to programming your remotes around the web..
