Ideas for the spring meet in Grand Rapids..
Well the time has come! My friend and I are beginning to plan out our spring S4 meet (there will be other cars there were just calling it an S4 meet).
I was wondering if any were to go to a meet what kind of events would you like to do?
What kind of events would attract you?
Now, there are a few things already in the works. For example, a dyno competition, and a 1/4 mile competition. Not only that we will be hopefully be a pot that we can throw into for the winners of the competition. If you are a highway guy we will also be trying to set up some high speed pulls etc.
I also talked to Prince at VAST and if they decide to go they might bring their computers and new flashing system to tune cars if anyone wanted a custom tune, also to try out race tunes etc.
I will have my own computer there to clear codes and to log FATS times for people.
What are your suggestions on how I should separate the competition classes (stages, turbos, weight reductions, sedans/avants etc.)?
Another event will hopefully be an enclosed track race. If you are interested let me know so I can make reservations accordingly, and keep you updated on whats happening.
I don't know how much it is going to cost to have the dyno, and I know w/o a deal its 20 dollars to go to the strip. Thanks for your help ahead of time.
