Im stoked about takin a drive to the ILL side! Should be some fun roads on the way!

Trapped - I would def try to find and S4 with the least amount of miles on it as possible. With these cars, you get what you pay for. I bought mine with 48K for 15K, and the car has had some bogus problems, but they all do.I thought i got a pretty decent deal.As far as maintaining, It kinda depends on how you drive the car, things are going to break no doubt. Youll need to have money in the bank for sure, especially if you are going to build it. But i warn you, once you start modding, you cant stop.. but you prob already know that I scrape by most of the time, all my money goes into the car repairs and mods, But i think its all totally worth it. I wouldnt change a thing! Good luck on findin the right car for you, ill keep my eye open.. Oh and heres a link about typical S4 problems. -----> http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php?t=191728

Seems like the basic A6 2.7t problems which is another reason for the switch. If I could buy blackjak's I would be very very happy 85k miles. I am guessing the TB has been done, but will ask. I am having a problem justifying mods/service on a car that is still not even close so an s4 for a drive. Granted if I was a highway driver and needed to commute I would love having the big ole A6. Anyway BLACKJACK SELL ME YOUR CAR... or trade me! I think 80/90k miles is alot, but most have done the services needed. Oh well thanks Kyle I hope to add another S4 to the bunch! if not well the drive to IL. will be comfortable

85k isnt too bad. Just make sure its been serviced right, TB and such. Get anything your seriously lookin at inspected by a certified Audi tech. Carfax it too!

Yeah I know what your saying about the audi tech. I have heard that alot because people try to scam you! Blackjack is firm on about 15k so that is out of the question, but I will keep looking!

haha, geez guys im still here reading hahahahah yes I am selling the car only to get another, ive somewhat talked about it with jeff, but hoping to make money back and buy a newer s4 with some higher miles only to have quite a few bucks to spend on it . I def love audi and I love my car to death so if I dont get the asking price my baby is staying right in my arms, but as for hunting for a s4 trapped there are quite and few on the east coast you should look into and I wouldnt worry so much about the miles its more the condition and the history the prices on these things flucuate like crazy theres some s4s with same mileage and year for higher price and some for way lower its just really about the area id say and seeing as shipping isnt the cheapest thing in the world I feel as though I am justified with my price as it comes at a premium in a sense. Also take into account that many stage 3s are well into their 100k so keep that in mind when searching...why pay an extra 2-3k for 10-15k less miles?

No ****, now the orginal seller is threatening the "Friend" who sent me my money back. Appearantly he is calling NYPD tomorrow, so I got all my shiz together to file a formal police report if need be.

Un believable.

(My last post in this thread, promise) - respond in the June 21 GTG thread.
That really sucks, man. Keep us updated on this if anything else happens. Scammers FTL. [:@]

Well i put in my new piston drivenbypass valves today, granted theyre different from eachother, and different colors [:'(] but they work awesome!!! i can definatly feel the difference in between shifts. I am more than pleased! And friday the new plugs go in (with some help from Jeff), NGK iridiums!!

Kolbs - If you can find a road with some good curves and a few good straights for some races, I think we would be set! Also less traffic would be prefered, im sure thats not hard to find out there.
