Very nice. I'll probably be letting you know about my car. My dad now thinks he can do mine, but ummm...yeah...not so much.

It's not that he's not somewhat mechanically inclined, but this isn't a Chevy we're talking about. [:-]

ok, didn't get any work done today...... had to deal with amy's old car...........

so i will get it buttoned up tomorrow.....need to get a couple of things before i can finish

but tell your dad, this thing is not fun to do.......... have him call me and talk to me about it

but if your dad wants to help, i will knock a some off my "labor" charge...... or tell him a shop will charge him.... in the stl area close to a grand for labor, so up there if there are no vag shops, maybe more than that

but i feel from talking to people i have a reasonable price....... i am an expert now at it.......wink wink

and if you decide to get any more upgrade.....not counting wheels let me know i can help put them on

Sounds good;I'll probably go ahead and have him call you when the time gets closer. And I'm sure he'll want to help out.

Other than probably getting chipped this summer, upgrades will be at a minimum until I get the money. All I've got planned right now is an H&R rear sway and maybe some exhaust work after I get the TB, chip, and wheels out of the way.

unless you are having aq huge cornering issue, i wouldn't worry about the sway....... but i do have sport suspension...... might look for someone selling theirs

what tunning are you going with?

got a boost guage yet?

you have saftey or emmisions? if not you should look into a tp

I'm not having a HUGH cornering issue (it's actuallly some amazing cornering compared to what I had before), but I've heard that a rear sway makes it even better.

I'm planning on going with GIAC because there's a place within an hour of my house that does it for a reasonable price.

I don't have a boost gauge yet, but that's on my list, too. Yours is in where your center vent would be, right??

I don't think we have emmisions here in Illinois, either.

I'm planning on going with GIAC because there's a place within an hour of my house that does it for a reasonable price.there are a few guys on zine selling apr tunned ecu's...... or just come down for the day and get apr here...... i would personally do apr...... not as harsh(aggressive) of a ride

I don't think we have emmisions here in Illinois, either.i know chicago does.... wasn't sure if you had it near you.... reason being a tp is not emissions legal, but you could/i am/would do it to free up the exhaust, also get rid of the resinator/midmuffler

I'm still thinking about what tuning I want, so who knows.

What sort of difference will a test pipe make (sound-wise)??

I just bought wheels and tires, by the way.
