That sucks about the iPod, Jeff; kinda sounds strange to me, too.

I haven't had internet at home since Friday night, so I'll be in and out randomly whenever I can get to my grandparents' laptop. Apparently it's something with the computer and not the internet provider. They think that the ethernet port is bad, whatever that means. Dell possibly wants to try resetting the computer to factory setting, though, which would mean goodbye to all of my pictures and music. [:@]

 

^ Laptop or desktop? Ethernet ports for desktops = easy. Just buy a new one at wal mart for $15 and plug it in. Good to go. Takes maybe 10 Min?

 

Desktop. Before this they thought that part of the ethernet driver was missing, but we tried to reinstall it and nothing really happened.

 

if you can live without internet till i can put a new card in, i will put one in, you just need to buy it

or they are pretty easy to install

 

That'd probably be fine, but we really don't know if that's even the problem yet. I'm gonna talk again with Dell later tonight, and if that gets up nowhere then we'll probably take it in to the techs that work with out internet provider so they can run a few tests.

 

i just wouldn't restore it, unless you got all your stuff backed up

 

Yeah, hopefully that'll be a last resort. I've never tried copying pictures to a CD, and I really don't want to spend half of a day burning my music to CDs.

started the car the other day and the turbo made a really horrible screatching noise, stopped and did it again........ so amy and i have been talking about turbo's

thing is, with a gpop k04 i can use my clutch, but will i be happy? answer, no

do i wanna spend about 2 grand on just the turbo? answer, no?

do i wanna buy a new clutch? answer, no?



well for everything but the k04 answer is yes....... but funds are not here right now, so that is why i say no.... so everyone be on the look out for someone getting rid of a bt kit for me, please




and kolby that day maybe coming sooner than later, but if i go bt/new clutch, you can drive my car, but not all damn day
