Default 2001 TT cuts out at 2000 rpm

I have a 2001 TT roadster with a FWD 180 HP 5 speed. Was driving along yesterday and suddenly cuts out and started acting like running out of fuel or backfiring. Could not get over 2000 rpm. Would die in traffic and sputter a lot. Fortunately made the 50 mile trip home, but sputtered all the way. not sure if a turbo issue or what. only owned car for about 6 months. Thanks.

Default 11 Audi TTS for Street and Track!

New to the Audi Forums... spent most of my automotive life in Nissan's(S13 240's and 300zx TT) and Mitsubishi's(3000gt VR4 and Eclipses) and running the streets up in NorCal/BayArea(707/916/415/650/510) in them. Picked up a 2011 Audi TTS a couple months ago and am now addicted to the Tracks down here in SoCal.

Although I am not looking to dump 10's of thousands of dollars into the car till it is paid off I am looking to use great parts for updating pieces which wear out. Looking forward to learning from yall about which brands and pieces work better than others for my DailyDriver / WeekendTrackster.

So far have ran Streets of Willow @Willow Springs International, Chuckwalla near the CA/AZ border, and the infield @AutoClubSpeedway in Pomona. Next major track weekend is running Streets of Willow on Saturday and Willow Springs International on Sunday in August w/ Team Analog and Team Topak in August.

Talking Hello from Cbus (Columbus, Ohio)!

Hey guys, purchased a 2007, A3 (3.2) in the spring and am really enjoying my ride. This is my first Audi, though I have a VW TDI at one point. I've been lurking (aka learning) by reading posts and trying to understand various issues and possibilities with my ride. I've got questions and hopefully, you all have answers, thoughts and constructive suggestions moving forward. Anyway hello to you all.

Cheers!
Colin
