Hello everyone! My name is Chad and I am the proud owner of a 2004 Audi A6 2.7L quattro. My primary goal for utilizing the forum is to improve my fuel economy and/or horsepower, pick up tips and tricks to improve performance, learn about DIY projects, and to just get more accustomed to the world of Audi.
Have a great day and thanks in advance for any assistance provided!

Bang for the buck!
Your best bang for the buck will be software. There are plenty to choose from. I have had APR in my 2001 S4 and 2003 RS6. This is the best, most reliable and least expensive way to upgrade. The rest will be more expensive and give you less power for the money (ie; exhaust, downpipes et.) but they still yeild great returns. Do the software first and it will enhance any other mods.
Also and this is very important. DO NOT let any one talk you into a cold air intake. Although they look great these cars put out a lot of heat due to the twin turbos and you will actually lose power with this set up. The heat from the turbos gets sucked right into them. You can check that out with a place in WA called Achtuning, they have done some testing.
Good luck you will love this motor and car....

2nd Audi Purchase
I just traded in a 2001 A6 Avant for a 2006 A3 3.2. I loved my old car and it had a special place in my heart being my first Audi but I can't get enough of the new A3. Great power and handling and the transmission... well it's simply brilliant.

Hello, I am new to this forum, mind you, any forum. My son received lots of tips from his other forum. I thought I would give a try. I have owned numerous different types of cars but there is no pleasure in comparison in driving this A4 2.8 Quattro. My wife and I just love the car.
