What have you done so far. Just so I am clear, you have an 01 A4 1.8T correct? Let me know what mods you have done and what direction you are headed. Are you looking for Street, Track, Looks or Sleeper and functionality and all around performance? These are the questions you need to ask yoursrlf and let me know and I know many sites I can direct you too. Also what type of budget and what is your priority. ie looks vs. performance or a good balance.
Regards,
SIKAudi

Hey you guys. im from rotten little town in ny. ive been a audi vw mechanic since i was 11 just dont know the newer ones that good we had a repair shop when i was a kid so i saw all the 4000 and 5000 series and some 80 90 cars and the 100 200, 200 turbo 20 valve is still one of the best audi ever made most of ya have never seen one. i love the tt but im 6' 7 so i have an a6. I have planned alot of work for the car but latly the typical a6 stuff has gone bad at 115000 so once i get that done it will be good for another 100k easy. people always complain about how these cars have problems and it makes me mad these are the greatest cars in the world, if you wana be a rice boy or drive a crap ford or chevy go ahead. the supposed new chevys have tech that was in my 86 and they call it new ha. the 08 tahoe had an 01 a6 interior basicly identical. never actually knew there was this much online support for owners its nice too see.

Default Hello

Just discovered the forum, VERY impressed thus far! My entire driving life I've driven nothing but American domestic vehicles - Fords, Chevrolets, Dodges..... Don't get me wrong, I loved my Chevrolet truck, but 8 MPG in town and 14 on the highway wasn't impressing me much. I just purchased my first non-American car, a 1998 Audi A4 Quattro 1.8T 5-speed. And thus far, I am outrageously impressed. Fuel mileage is fantastic, and I don't think I've driven a single car yet that is more fun to drive (except a 1000+ horsepower 1971 Dodge Challenger)....I am very impressed with the vehicle, and believe that unless some extremely serious mechanical issues surface, I'll be buying another Audi later on down the road.

Default Hello fellow Audi lovers!

Hi everyone my name is Mel (philly) and i have an 88' 5000s quattro, just got it a few months back for very cheap and i love her! So far she's had no major problems just normal wear kinda stuff. I've never been so excited about a car as i am with this one, especially since i'm a chick- who knew! Anyway, i'm just here to learn and ask questions and share my love for rockin' german cars!
