Audi TT purchasing advice request

Get a Carfax. Is this one owner? If so, ask the dealer he goes to what the car is like. Now I'm not sure about Audi TTs, but E36 BMW M3s, when you log onto the ECU they have overrev error codes that may appear. These indicate if someone has been redlining it (i.e. driving the hell out of it). As for Quattro, its reputed to be the best AWD system on the market. I own an A4, so I can't answer the rest about TTs.
