1993 100Q CS
Hey all I am new, I just purchased teh 1993 a few days ago and I love it already. It snowed 7 inches here today and the quattro drive really showed the snowed who has control of the road! Anyhow I am new, I have been into cars for quite some time now, never an import though, my other cars at the moment are a 2004 Pontiac Sunfire all set up for auto crossing , a 1990 Shelby Daytona with a "few" mods and is now capable of putting down just over 300 hp to the wheels at 20 PSI of boost. I have built cars and trucks for as long as I have been able to pull a wrench. Now I have this Audi and well, things have definitely changed, the way this car is put together is amazing! , the detail that has gone into this car is great, from the climate control feature to the little tabs that hold the floor mats in place, it was engineered to be a drivers car. Aside form some minor detailing work the car came to me in fantastic condition, however there were a few small things that needed my attention. The first thing was the power windows, they would not operate, but the relay in the drivers kick panel turned out to be the culprit, changed it and now everything is groovy. Next was and I am still working on this one, the brakes. They have had some old OLD fluid in the resevoir for quite some time now and well they would not work properly, so I changed the fluid and things got better, a lot better but.... well I will continue this in a help section somewhere. Anyhow heres a pic of the car.
Thanks for the welcome guys. It seems that the first thing I will be doing to the car is lowering it a bit, for handling purposes, beyond that I am too new in the Audi world to knwo what to do next. I think that I would like to do the exhaust, I have a feeling that this little V6 can have a mighty nice growl with the proper pies attached, but still retain its sophisticated appeal.
