1997 audi a4 b5 1.8t. Wont crank or start

First I want to tell how it happened. So the ignition switch in my car is sticky and it will get stuck in crank position. Anyway I had it running for about 5 minutes forgetting it was stuck on crank. After I turned it off it wouldn't turned back on or even crank. I've change the starter and check if there was power going to the starter and I'm getting power to the starter. And I've also check the old starter that I thought was bad but when I tested it it was still good. I also replace the ignition switch and I still got nothing. The fuel pump I just replace so I know there's nothing wrong with it. Can someone help me and point me to the right direction. I cant seem to find the problem. I also check if there was a fuse by the ECU and there wasn't. I need your help guys. Thank you.

Sorry its a bit late but i did the same thing that you did, because the key barrel spring didnt return the barrel & key back to the run position.
That fully ruined the starter motor & i spent 2 1/2 days on the side of a huge roundabout on a 4 lane main road in a different city than mine finding a new starter & fitting it with some borrowed spanners & a keyring allen key set.
But, that did fix it. I could start it after that & drove the 600kms + home in one go.

Did you check any relays?
