09/14/2016 I recently purchased a 2009 Audi A4 Avant 2.0T Premium with 76,000 miles on it from a dealer. The first time I was able to get it on the highway, I noticed a sputtering/ hesitation in the engine upon accelerating. As I'm going about 40 MPH onto the on ramp, accelerating to about 60, the car sputters or jerks when the RPMS hit 3000. Furthermore, if I'm cruising at say, 60mph and punch it a bit to gain more speed, the same thing happens at around 3000 RPMs. To describe how it feels, like I said earlier, it sputters and has quick jerks. I can see the RPM needle struggle as well. Please help me to figure out this problem so I can inform my dealer. I am brand new to this forum, so I appreciate any help I can get. Thank you!
