a3 rear stone guard
my audi a3 s-line is 18 months old, during a 'complimentary' health check by audi they told me my rear stone guard is cracked on passengers side, they wont replace it as it is not covered by the warrantee (but they dont name it on the exclusions list), have blamed me if you like by saying something had hit it whilst driving - well I aint heard anything and I would have thought I would. Its the metal disc behind the brake system, has anyone else had the same problem and same **** customer service? I know I'm a 'lady' driver, but feel am having wool pulled over eyes.

usually things like that are considered wear and tear, and not covered under any warranty.
personally i hate those things, they eventually end up warping and rubbing along the brake discs until you straighten them out. i think taking them off has been the first thing i've done to any car i've owned
