A6 aerial amp location
Hi All,
Firstly apologies if this is covered elsewhere, but I have tried to find some info on this subject but can’t. I have a 2000 rhd A6 saloon. I have the problem where the radio has masses of interference when the heated rear window is turned on. I believe it is either a replacement rear screen or aerial amp to cure the problem. The cheapest option is the amp – but where is it located? Any help would be appreciated.

On U.S. models it is under the "C" pilar behind the rear door. I would assume that RHD models would be the same, or on your passenger side.
Careful if you have rear airbags! From what I've read on some models there are two amps in this location - top one is for AM
