Default Lower Oil Pan Leak -2016 Audi TT

I have a 2016 Audi TT Coupe. 2,500 miles from new
I hit a pot hole.
I have a crack in the lower oil pan, Part No. 06k103600R
Said by dealer not covered. $700.00 to replace at the dealer.

Can I replace this with a more durable steel lower oil cover and still have a valid warranty?
Looks like removal of 23 bolts plus the three on the oil sensor.
Do you find this is a good swap?
This oil pan cover is the same as used on A3 and VW's.
Sources for these oil pan covers for the Audi TT 2016?
Thanks

Sorry to interrupt you but my dealer is DSR Leasing https://dsrleasing.com/car-listings?make=audi. My friend recommends me that and they offer the best leasing deals on my car and I am fully satisfied from their services from last 1 year.
