Bought a Red 2001 S4 and loving it
I actually bought her last october from a private seller, and ever since have had no regrets. I had a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix for 5 years, and I had some good times modding that getting into the 12's, but after driving the S4, especially in the snow here in WI I don't know how I did without one! Bought it with 37,000 miles, now there is a little over 40,000. I'm pretty sure a previous owner did suspension work cause there is no wheel gap whatsoever and the struts are yellow, but I'm not sure I didn't check to see if there was a manufacture label on them. I love the AWD, love the cornering abilities, and even though my GP was much faster the quality and luxury of this car is wonderful. One complaint: yesturday my clutch went out. $1400 do get it fixed, and of course whats left of my warrenty doesnt cover it
But other than that I can't wait till I get a chip intake and exhaust and see what she can really do!

Nice! I looked into the S4, but figured for right now, my A4 would be a good first car to step into the "Audi" line of cars. My next one will definatly be the S line, or dare I say an RS4 if they start selling them in the US. To my knowledge, they don't right?
Once I get my car back tuesday I'll try and take some pics. Its funny cause my gf has an 98 A4, and when I got mine she didn't understand why I would spend that much more or what the difference was. She's like "it looks like mine but red stupid"...then I let her drive it down the block, her face was priceless
