Excessive coolant use

I have a 2006 A4 convertible and it's drinking coolant like it's going out of fashion. I replaced the hoses and tank and still the same problem. What else could cause this

Audi A4 1.8 Avant petrol 2004
cooling water leak below aftmost cooling water sensor. It is not the sensor leaking it the flange just below
is it possible to acces this flange without removal engine There is very limited space
