Default Got the bug (Wanze perhaps?)

Hmmm...Introductions...

Well, started life as a USDM lover, working over Big Iron Olds motors, 289's and the occasional inline 6-300 ci, then decided that Japan had the tops in motors, switched to 2JZ-GTE's, RB26DETT's and the odd 20B (very...very...odd...), moved into bikes (again, Japan) and still have a 1979 XS750SF and a 1980 XS850SG that run low 12's on a cool day...

BUT...Managed to "borrow" the keys to a 2002 TT Quattro 225hp the other day, and boy oh boy...

Gotta HAVE ONE!!!

I've got a friggin laundry list of questions that I hope to find answers to here. I see a TON of potential in the 1.8T, and hope to exploit the ever living sh...Ah nevermind, you all know what I'm talking about.

See you in the forums!

welcome to the forums, PUNiSH3R! if you want a beast that will be much more fun than waiting for turbo spool....get a V6 A4 (either the 2.8L or the 3.0L, whatever's in your budget) and supercharge it with a pes tuning kit

One of my friends is saving up for a skyline engine swap into his 240sx. I can't wait to drive it!

I had considered the 3.0L A4 but if I'm going the four door route, it's S8 all the way. I figure if you're gonna have four doors, might as well enjoy them. (that and the Ronin reference has intrigued me for years now...)

Its got nothing to do with like/don't like, it's just that the JDM market is so saturated right now there's nothing original left. That combined with the general "Ricer" stereotype makes for a very hostile and unhospitable environment in which to have a good time.

Besides, it's my time for a european sport coupe. (Hey, it was this or an 850i...)
