After reading many interesting posts over the course of the past few months I decided to say hello. Unfortunately I'm seeking advice for a problem I encountered when leaving the office tonight. I posted a message in the technical section looking for assistance with a total loss of power steering and battery light coming on. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for making me feel welcome. I ordered the new Porsche Cayman in August and planned to keep my A4 around so I had a "safe" car to schlep the kids around in when absolutely necessary. I'm very concerned that the Audi may not make it given the problem I encountered this evening.
