Im am getting to chose an audi a4 for my 19th birthday. So it will be the dailly driver. Im new to the audi scene. Used to be a bmw guy. Still am a bmw guy. But I refuse to drive a bmw in the snow. Audis are fun. Have a bunch of friends with them. Just wanted to say hi. Look forward to hearing from you guys.

A Jeep cherokee 3inch suspension lift. 4.56s front and rear. Detriot in rear. 32 inch super swampers. Yeah its the mud truck. Had an 87 bmw 325is that never saw snow its whole life. Car is going to be driven a couple times a week. Around town at school. Then to home on some weekends to work. Thats about it.

Do not get me wrong. I am still very much a BMW fanatic. A BMW will be my weekend car again someday. I just like audis for there driveablity. They are good in all types of driving condtions.

Welcome to the forum, you will switch once you drive an Audi around for a while, then try to go back to your BMW, then you will know you have switched

 

Dont you worry. I have driven many audis and many bmws. I may only be 18. BUT I WILL ALWAYS REMAIN A BMW FANATIC PERIOD!

 

You sound like a pretty hard-line BMW fan. I know a lot of people use them for autocrossing and love them for that reason. What's yours?

 

My reasons are simple.
1.) I love rear wheel drive cars especially with lsds stock.
2.) I love striaght sixs (easy to work on and reliable).
3.) I love there interiors, BMW also seems to think of all the little things.
4.) Pretty easy to work on (once you have the tools).
5.) Swapability.
6.) Grew up around a ton of Audis, BMWs, and Mercedes. Still like Beamer the best (my opinion).
