New guy in Colorado rocking a 1978 Fox
Well I sold a rare 1977 Honda CVCC Civic Hatchback to get a damn fine example of a B1 Fox. She is Sky Blue, has an automatic, and it has just over 43,200 original miles. I am the second owner. It was owned by an elderly couple from the day it was purchased in either late 1977 or early 1978 from a dealership in Denver. There are absolutely no cracks on the dash and she has a fully functioning A/C!
She is really clean overall but she has a few little dents and dings but that's to be expected being 38 years old. I am currently looking for a replacement grill as the the previous owners bumped the grill while missing the GIANT BUMPER...

Great find, man!
We haven't seen a Fox in the Northeast in decades. A heads up on the body: I think they suffered from poor rust protection from the factory. I had a friend that had one and though I don't remember what his bitch was with the car, he was pretty down on it. I never saw the beauty of the angular thing going on stylistically in the 80's, the Chevettes, Rabbits, etc. But of course, beauty is in the eye of the beerholder.

She is completely stock for the moment. Going to go through and replace everything under the hood that I can get my hands on i.e.: water pump/ thermostat, gaskets, belts, fluids, etc... Just want to keep her on the road and running for as long as possible. I have a Pertronix electronic ignition and coil going in soon. I hate points and this type of conversion, next to an engine swap, is the best thing possible for any older auto.
Eventually she will get dropped a few inches and will be rocking a set of 15" BBS rims. Nothing to extreme but enough to look good and not like a 4 wheeler. But this all comes down to getting a suspension setup sorted. I don't have a garage of my own anymore so I either need to find a complete bolt in setup or have a local shop put one together for me.

She needs some work. Sitting around and only covering an average of just over 1000 miles a year for 38-39 years has not been good for her. I am going to get her back up and in decent shape then she might be sold. I just had the Valve stem seals and timing belt replaced and it wasn't cheap. The seals were crispy from a lack of use. The timing belt was the original belt as well. I took the ad down for now but will decide her fate later after a few repairs. If she behaves I'll keep her but if she just ends up to be to much for my budget she will have to go.
